Vandalism at Allu Arjun’s Residence: Protesters Demand Justice for Woman in ‘Pushpa-2’ Stampede, CM Condemns Attack

A group of people, claiming to be members of the Osmania University Joint Action Committee (OUJAC), vandalized the residence of Telugu film star Allu Arjun in Hyderabad on Sunday. The protestors were demanding justice for the woman who died in a stampede during the screening of Pushpa-2.

The group caused damage by throwing tomatoes and destroying flower pots at the actor’s home in the upscale Jubilee Hills area. The protestors raised slogans against Allu Arjun and his family, accusing them of profiting from films while fans suffer. They also demanded Rs 1 crore in financial assistance for the deceased woman’s family.

According to a police statement, one of the protestors scaled the compound wall of the actor’s residence, and when security personnel attempted to stop them, they were manhandled. The situation led to minor damage to property before the protestors spoke to the media gathered at the scene. Six individuals were detained by the police, who arrived promptly after the disturbance. A case has been registered against the six individuals, along with others believed to have been involved.
